Naruto

Uchiha Obito is a key character in the anime series Naruto Shippuden. He first appears in a flashback in episode 32, "The Sakura Bloom!" His story is complex, marked by tragedy and a descent into darkness.

Initially portrayed as an enthusiastic, albeit clumsy, member of Team Minato alongside Kakashi Hatake and Rin Nohara, Obito dreamed of becoming Hokage. During the Third Shinobi World War, he seemingly sacrificed himself to save Kakashi, bequeathing him his Sharingan eye as a parting gift.

However, Obito survived, rescued by Madara Uchiha. Witnessing Rin's death at Kakashi's hand (orchestrated by Madara), Obito became disillusioned and embraced Madara's plan to create a false reality. He adopted the identity of Tobi and operated from the shadows, manipulating events that led to the Fourth Shinobi World War.

As Tobi, he worked with Akatsuki and sought to capture the Tailed Beasts. Later, he revealed himself as the true mastermind, declaring war on the ninja world. Ultimately, Naruto's persistent efforts and belief in him helped Obito rediscover his original ideals, leading to his redemption and eventual sacrifice to protect Naruto and the Allied Shinobi Forces.
